Dinner with the Doctors: Heart Health + Movement feat. Guest Speaker Erica Hornthal

  • Be Optimal Holistic Health Center 1249 Waukegan Road Glenview, IL, 60025 United States (map)

 TOPIC: Heart Health + Movement

COST: FREE

For the month of “love”, we have decided to focus on the heart! We will be teaching about how to boost your heart health naturally, as well as the importance that movement plays on keeping the heart healthy and strong. We will be collaborating with dance movement therapist, Erica Hornthal, who will be guiding the class through simple strategies to keep your body moving throughout the day, even without a trip to the gym! Come ready to move and learn!

Heart health is of utmost importance in terms of healthy living.  Did you know that emotional health is an important aspect to heart health and that you can support your heart through movement outside of exercise?  Join Erica Hornthal, CEO of Chicago Dance Therapy, as she talks about the importance of movement (outside of exercise) for heart health.  Participants will engage in a discussion as well as a demonstration of how movement can be used to reduce stress and tension in turn creating a healthier heart.  No dance or prior movement experience is necessary and everyone can participate.

It is our passion to help educate the community on how to live a healthier lifestyle. Enjoy demonstrations and time for Q+A with the docs to learn and experience how they work! Free dinner provided, RSVP required.
