BIO:

James Herron, a native of Michigan, comes to us with 7 years of experience and numerous certifications and modalities that allow him to integrate exercise physiology, functional neurology/neuroscience, sports performance and breathwork techniques to bring his clients a memorable exercise experience. He teaches people how to work out correctly to not only prevent injury but to show his clients that exercise can actually feel amazing in our body.

As a former elite athlete in college football, wrestling and track, James has been helping people achieve their highest levels of performance using his extensive background which also includes sports nutrition along with an ability to support his clients to surpass emotional blocks that prevent them from meeting or exceeding their exercise goals. Like the practitioners at Be Optimal, James focuses on the triad of health - mental, physical and emotional components - to help clients achieve excellence not just in their physique, but also their lives. He believes in a balanced approach to training by not only bettering his clients along their fitness journey, but to also help them create an overall blueprint to living.
