Dr. Abby Kramer, DC

Dr. Abby Kramer Chiropractor and holistic physician graduated from National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, IL in 2015. Dr. Abby worked at the Salvation Army clinic in Chicago for one year to complete her chiropractic internship providing treatment to underserved patients in an adult drug and alcohol rehabilitation program.

She believes in addressing each patient as a whole, taking into account structural, chemical, and emotional causes of dysfunction. She has a unique way of combining her skills in chiropractic manipulation, muscle testing, manual therapy, emotional stress relief, nutritional counseling, and functional taping to help her patients be relieved of pain and emotional burden, increase function, recover faster, and return to health!

She received her undergraduate degree in Human Movement Science from Utah State University. Her unique background as a competitive swimmer, runner, and personal trainer has given her a keen eye to assessing the bodies’ movement patterns and helping people access their full physical potential.

She has had the opportunity to work with elite athletes as part of the medical staff with Rocktape at running events, triathlons, and crossfit competitions. She is also a regional director for BirthFit, an organization designed to help pregnant women embrace their journey in a healthy and happy way. Dr. Abby is very passionate about working with pregnant women and children to obtain optimal health and thrive. She has published various articles for blogs, and recently published research on kinesiology taping through the ACA Rehab Council.

Dr. Cari J

Dr. Cari Jacobson licensed to practice Chiropractic and Holistic Medicine in California and Illinois, opened Be Optimal Holistic Health Center in Glenview, IL in June of 2010. She has had experience in a variety of settings, such as the medical center at California State University-Northridge, LA Free Clinic, Silverlake Being Alive HIV/AIDS clinic, a private practice in Beverly Hills and at The Way to Optimal Health (a private practice) in Northbrook, IL for 4 years. Dr. Cari received her Doctorate of Chiropractic Medicine graduating magna cum laude from Southern California University of Health Sciences in 2006.

Dr. Cari’s objective is to help people achieve and maintain optimal health and wellness by balancing the body physically, chemically, emotionally and energetically. She passionately believes that when we are in balance, we thrive! She also realizes that every-body is different and, therefore, utilizes many techniques to customize treatment to each patient. Dr. Cari is known for her eclectic style of integrative healing modalities and adjusting techniques. In addition, Dr. Cari considers nutrition an integral part in treating the health and wellness of each person.

She works with people of all ages to help them learn self love, feel empowered and help people live an optimally healthy and happy life. Dr. Cari is a healer’s healer and is recognized in the holistic community as being a conscious thought leader on women and children’s health challenges. To Cari, being a doctor means to first educate, then treat. She volunteers time at the office, events, and conferences to help people learn and understand the importance of preventative medicine and living a healthy lifestyle. Dr. Cari feels privileged to be doing this work and continues to strive to impact the lives of as many people as possible.
