Meg Bowman MA, MS, CNS, LDN
Meg Bowman is a clinical nutritionist and health coach that works with clients to nourish their mind, body and spirit. Trained in the functional medicine model of nutrition, Meg looks for the root cause of disease and discomfort, and uses food as medicine to in her treatment plans, as well as herbals, biofeedback, mindfulness, guided imagery, and aromatherapy.
Some of the food plans that Meg typically utilizes with clients include gluten free/dairy free, Low FODMAP, SCD, GAPS, elimination diets, AIP, Paleo, vegetarian, as well as diets that are completely customized.
Often, the root cause of symptoms isn’t immediately obvious, so Meg relies on lab testing including food sensitivity panels, organic acids tests, stool tests, hormone/thyroid panels, and more traditional blood panels.
Meg received her master’s in nutrition and integrative health from Maryland University of Integrative Health, and is a Certified Nutrition Specialist through the Board for Certification of Nutrition Specialists.
In her free time, Meg likes to cook, garden, and get out into nature with her husband, son, and shih tzu puppy (who you might see at the office), Scout.
