DIANE Williamson, LMT, Massage Therapist
Diane Williamson is thrilled to be a part of the Be Optimal community as she is passionate about educating clients to feel better through lifestyle choices and other modalities that contribute to their overall health and wellness. A 1988 graduate from the Chicago School of Massage Therapy, Diane has joyfully been practicing massage for almost 30 years! Diane specializes in working with chronic pain and surgical recovery. Her best work is in breaking down scar tissue in a very noninvasive manner while helping clients to achieve better range of motion and relief from pain. Some aromatherapy, LaStone Therapy, Myofascial Therapy, Pregnancy Massage, Deep Tissue, Magnetic Micro-cup Reflexology, and Face Lifting and Drainage are just some of the many techniques she offers.
Diane relocated back from over 5 years spent in Beijing, China in June 2016. She was Nationally Certified in Neuromuscular Therapy, was a former Massage Cupping™ Bodywork Therapy Educator having studied and certified through the originator of the technique, Anita Shannon, and is an Infant Massage Instructor. When she worked with the Chicago School, Diane assisted in various classes and regularly taught introductory classes in massage therapy while also directing the school’s Professional Clinic. She is also a member of The American Massage Therapy Association.
In her free time, she also is a part-time artist rendering anything with fur or feathers in pastel.
