Dr. Cari Jacobson practices Holistic Medicine in the Chicagoland area while maintaining a steady practice in Los Angeles, California. She has had experience in a variety of settings, such as the medical center at California State University-Northridge, LA Free Clinic, Silverlake Being Alive HIV/AIDS clinic and a private practice in Santa Monica. She is presently working at The Way to Optimal Health in Northbrook, IL. She received her Doctorate of Chiropractic Medicine graduating magna cum laude from Southern California University of Health Sciences- Los Angeles College of Chiropractic.

Dr. Cari is committed to her work in chiropractic and holistic medicine. Her objective is to help people achieve and maintain optimal health and wellness by balancing the body physically, chemically, emotionally and energetically. She believes that every-body is different and, therefore, utilizes many techniques to customize treatment to each patient. Dr. Cari is known for her eclectic style of integrative healing modalities ranging from Applied Kinesiology (AK), Neuro Emotional Technique (NET), Total Body Modification (TBM), the Lifeline Technique, Neurological Integrative Systems (NeuroLink), and Theta Healing. She also uses Sacral Occipital Therapy (SOT), Diversified Adjusting, Gonstead Adjusting Style and Activator Technique. In addition, Cari considers nutrition an integral part in treating the health and wellness of each person.

She works with people of all ages and is passionate about helping people live an optimally healthy and happy life. Dr. Cari is a healer's healer and is recognized in the holistic community as being a conscious thought leader on women and children's health challenges. To Cari, being a doctor means to first educate, then treat. She volunteers time at the office, events, and conferences to help people learn and understand the importance of preventive medicine and living a healthy lifestyle. Dr. Cari feels extremely blessed and privileged to be doing this work and continues to strive to impact the lives of as many people as possible.
